Mila Kunis in Prabal Gurung - 50th Anniversary of St.Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Mila Kunis attended the 50th Anniversary of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital last week looking lovely in a Prabal Gurung dress from the recent Spring 2012 collection.
I said Mila would be the one to watch in 2012 and she's already proving me right.

Dress: Prabal Gurung Spring 2012

Shoes: Elie Saab Fall 2011

Mila chose this lovely purple dress by Prabal Gurung with a lace top half with criss cross detail and a flowy skirt on the bottom. The colour looks stunning against her tanned skin, plus we all know she's a big fan of purple/lilac so no surprise here. She finished her look with a black clutch and gorgeous strappy pumps.

Mila completed her lacy look with sleek waves and her classic smoky eyes to make her green peepers pop, beautiful!

One To Watch In 2012 Award - Mila Kunis

Ever since Mila Kunis starred in Black Swan late last year her profile has risen stratospherically, she is now a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominee - Mila has since been attending all of the major Award shows in the biggest designer names let alone being on numerous fashion magazine covers.

While Mila has been on the block for a few years but its only in 2011 that the world really took notice of the beautiful actress, that and the fashion world too. Having worn every major designer out there I can't wait to see what she has in store for us in 2012!

September Issues, 2011.

Hello loves! I was feeling slightly bored and in need of writing a nice lil post, I was scrambling to think about what I could possibly write about and *light bulb moment*..THE SEPTEMBER issues, the most important issues of the fashion year! All of the major style bibles e.g. Vogue, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Vanity Fair and many more have chosen their September cover girls and they all look fantastic! Not all covers have been released so there are still more to come from US Vogue, US Glamour & US Marie Claire etc.

Marie Claire UK: Anne Hathaway:

The lovely Anne has landed the Marie Claire UK cover which I bought the other day because I adore Marie Claire! The pictures and fashion are beautiful and so is Anne but I wish they'd chosen another photo for the cover, something more alluring but none the less, its a great cover!

Vanity Fair: Jennifer Lopez

J-Lo is on Vanity Fair's Sept cover looking all beautiful and serious, its her first ''post-split'' interview so they're sure to gain plenty of sales from Jenny!

ELLE US: Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth is on ELLE US's cover looking fantastic, she looks fresh and not overly made up, very statuesque!

Harper's Bazaar UK: Beyoncé

Queen B is of course on a Harpers Bazaar cover and surprisingly on the UK edition! I'm sure everyone has see the pics of B posing in Paris in a beautiful Gucci gown, word got out that it was for Harpers Bazaar and of course, everyone assumed it was for the US but nope..we get B, doesn't she look fantastic?

ELLE UK: Kirsten Dunst

The beautiful Kirsten landed the UK ELLE cover looking incredibly pretty, the flowers and colours are captivating and her piercing blue eyes are amazing! Glad you're happier bb!

Glamour UK: Mila Kunis

One of my current girl crushes, Mila Kunis is on the UK Glamour cover and I cannot wait to buy this, I'm a Glamour addict! Mila looks great and I'm glad they chose her for the cover!

Vogue UK: Freja Beha Erichsen

One of my favourite models of all time, Freja was chosen as the cover girl for UK Vogue and I don't blame them, she's amazing and can sell pretty much everything! Love her!

InStyle UK: Freida Pinto

InStyle UK cover girl Freida Pinto is looking gorgeous on her cover, she's wearing Pucci and looking damn fine! Can't wait to see it on the shelves!

British GQ: Bar Rafaeli

And because I had to add something for the dudes out there..GQ UK cover girl Bar is looking smoking on their Sept issue, very seductive indeed, she's a beautiful girl!

I'll add more as they surface! :)

Academy Awards 2011: Best Dressed!

My favourite event happened last night....the OSCARS! So many beautiful dresses and people, the fashion was spectacular! A lot to get through!!

I've picked my favourites and I'm even going to post all of Anne Hathaway's dresses in a separate post!
So exciting!

  • Mila Kunis in Elie Saab Haute Couture:

I was hoping somebody would wear Elie Saab Couture at this years ceremony and luckily for me it was the beautiful Mila Kunis! She looked like an angel, the lavender looks gorgeous on her, it's a very romantic look and I'm glad she kept everything else simple and to a minimum so that the dress would do the talking. She looks gorgeous and was definitely one of the night's best dressed!

Mila already being ridiculously gorgeous didn't need to much prepping or heavy make-up, the hair is softly up and the make-up is very muted out, the only thing that really stands out on her face are those amazing eyes of hers!

  • Michelle Williams in Chanel Haute Couture:

I always love seeing a Chanel piece on the red carpet and Michelle's couture dress didn't disappoint, she looks lovely and elegant with just the right amount of glamour. A definite up from her Golden Globes disaster!

To add to the already muted tones of her dress she opted for natural make-up with the slightest smoke to her eyes, I think anything heavier would've looked messy on such a clean and gorgeous dress!

  • Anne Hathaway in Valentino:

The lady of the night (apart from Natalie Portman of course!) Anne wore this gorgeous red Valentino dress which had a huge ruffle at the back, she even had Valentino himself with her on the red carpet just in case anything went wrong, lucky girl! If you think this is something wait til' you see Anne's EIGHT costume changes in my next post!

As beautiful as ever, Anne went for a classic matte red lip to compliment her red dress and porcelain skin. I'm not too fond of the highlighted hair because I think she's at her best when she's a dark brunette with very fine highlights at the most but none the less she looks wonderful.

  • Amy Adams in L'Wren Scott:

The lovely Amy wore this gorgeous sequined dress by L'Wren Scott, the colour is amazing and one of the reasons I love the dress so much. It looks gorgeous against her porcelain skin, blue sequins are a sure fire way to be noticed on the red carpet. I love the jewels but I wouldn't have worn the necklace, as beautiful as it is, it's too much for an all over sequined dress.

Amy's hair was beautiful and a talking point among many fashion critics, the romantic waves set the tough dress perfectly and the natural make-up is just right for the pretty Amy.

  • Scarlett Johansson in Dolce & Gabbana:

Another favourite of last nights, Scarlett's sexy Dolce & Gabbana dress definitely stood out from the crowd, everything from the lace to the colour was fantastic and it looked divine on her. I wasn't surprised she wore D&G seeing as she is the face of their beauty products, Scarlett was one of my absolute favourites for sure!

OMG, could she look any more beautiful?! The orange and gold on the eyes make those green peepers stand out and the peachy sheen on the blush complemented her perfectly, probably my favourite make-up of the night! Oh and the hair, I was staring at it for ages trying to figure out if she's really cut it and yes she has and wow it looks gorgeous, I'm actually a little obsessed with it now!

  • Reese Witherspoon in Giorgio Armani Privé:

Reese wore the simplest of dresses and still managed to stand out, I think she looks gorgeous and very elegant. Some might say it's too simple but I think in some ways its appropriate, she wasn't nominated and was just presenting, she's not trying to steal the fashion crown and I love her for it!

Can I just say, I loved Reese's ponytail! I don't understand the 'Barbie' crap, I think she looked beautiful, even better than those who tried their hardest to look made-up. Her make-up is classic Reese, not too much but the hair definitely stood out, good job Reese!

  • Hilary Swank in Gucci Premiere:

Well hello Hilary! She's on a roll this awards season I didn't think she could trump her SAG dress but she looks breathtaking and she's in feathers again! It's a perfect dress for her, she always bring her A game to the red carpet, definitely someone to look forward to!

So pretty! Hilary always looks lovely at red carpet events and this years ceremony is no different! It's pretty obvious she has great skin and doesn't need to cake on the foundation, she just looks beautiful!

  • Cate Blanchett in Givenchy Haute Couture:

I had no idea Cate was attending but wow! This Givenchy Couture creation is stunning and perfect for Cate, very high fashion and delicate at the same time. She always stuns on the red carpet and this dress got people talking, they either loved it or hated it. I for one love it, it's unique and she looks perfect! The detailing at the front is quite unusual and so is the detailing at the back but then again, that's Couture for you!

Cate is one of my all time favourite beauties, she's so naturally beautiful and delicate looking, just like a doll. Perfectly natural hair and make-up as Cate is known to not over do it.

  • Halle Berry in Marchesa:

Another wow dress of last nights, I wasn't expecting Halle there but when I saw this I was stunned, it's a beautiful dress! Bravo to Marchesa for this creation and to Halle for choosing it! I'm surprised the tulle goes so well with the rest of thee material, it created a very ethereal feel to it. A definite beauty!

Halle is the Queen of the pixie crop, her hair always looks perfect! She looks more and more beautiful with age, she's just amazing!

  • Natalie Portman aka BEST ACTRESS in Rodarte:

She did it!!!! Woohoo! I couldn't be happier for Natalie on her first Academy Award, she truly deserved it! I've seen Black Swan and my goodness it's one hell of a film, Natalie in particular is so fantastic as Nina that she literally compelles you with her acting. A masterpiece and Natalie is so deserving of her Oscar, congratulations to her!

Natalie's chosen designer was Rodarte of course (they also designed all of the Black Swan costumes), the dress is gorgeous on her and fits her baby bump perfectly! Purple is definitely Nat's colour, she tends to wear different shades of it and always looks exquisite. She looks like a winner and hey, she won! Beautiful, as always!

Positively glowing, can you blame her? It's hard to describe just how gorgeous Natalie is so I'll just go ahead and say she's beautiful and leave it at that! The hair and make-up were appropriate for the dress and for the event, she was just perfect, no other words needed!

And that's awards season over, wow, it was great with so many beautiful dresses! Up next: MET Ball!!

Golden Globes 2011: Best Dressed List/Standouts

Gosh I've been gone for ages, I miss this place lol!

Anyway! Award Season is in full after the Golden Globes on Sunday and I couldn't be happier, beautiful people with amazing dresses on the red carpet = perfection! I had quite a few favourites and I'm only going to post the dresses I actually liked,  (what's the point in wasting time with things I don't like?!)

Here we go!

P.S this is in no order but of course I'll make my absolute favourites known!!

  • Milla Jovovich in Armani Privé:

Looking every inch the Hollywood starlet Milla opted for high glamour in Armani Privé who was the preferred designer of the night!

Her hair and make-up were simple yet beautiful, besides she's naturally gorgeous she doesn't even need make-up and she has stunning eyes, I love staring at them lol!

  • Emma Stone in Calvin Klein Collection:

Emma's dress was probably the simplest dress on the red carpet last night and I didn't know she had even attended because all the fashion pages were too busy with the sparkly & sequined stuff and when I saw Emma I thought she looked gorgeous!! Ok so it's almost the simplest dress on Earth but remember this is Calvin Klein we're talking about, he's known for his simple yet elegant dresses..don't be expecting ruffles and sequins! The colour suits her a lot and yeah she's pretty tanned but so what?

I'm loving Emma's blonde hair, she pulls it off very well (I do know she's naturally blonde btw!) as it's a tricky blonde colour. Like most of the other starlets, her make-up was very natural, her hair & dress caught most of the attention! Loved it.

  • Olivia Wilde in Marchesa:

If I was her I'd be showing off those Louboutins too...damn her!

Looking gorgeous in this Marchesa creation, she sure was going for the ball gown type! Her straight hair goes well with the dress, not too fussy as it would've been overkill considering the dress is a showstopper!

  • Sandra Bullocks in Jenny Packham:

Looking stunning in Jenny Packham, Sandra's dress was very feminine and girlie which is a pleasant surprise from her! It looks beautiful!

I'm not too sure of Sandra's fringe, it seems a little stiff on her, as if she can barely see with it! She does look lovely though, nonetheless!

  • Mila Kunis in Vera Wang:
One of the 'Green Goddesses' of the night, she wore this beautiful dress by Vera Wang which looks great against her dark hair and skin. Definitely a memorable dress from the 2011 Golden Globes.

Looking as beautiful as ever Mila's hair was up with a slight quiff and her make-up was quite natural but when you're as gorgeous as her you don't even need make-up!

  • Scarlett Johansson in Elie Saab:

One of my favourites of the night...I can't get over how gorgeous that dress is and how good it looks on Scarlett, kudos to her! This beautiful creation is one of the many reasons I adore Elie Saab, he just knows how to make the most gorgeous, feminine and striking of dresses...I wish I could wear one of his designs one day!

Scarlett just looked like an angel in that dress and her hair & make-up only made that more obvious, in tune with her soft and feminine dress she kept everything else natural too with barely there make-up and softly done up hair.

  • Catherine Zeta-Jones in Monique Lhuillier:

Another 'Green Goddess', this was one of my standout dresses of the night, the colour is just amazing and it looks fantastic on Catherine, I think deep greens or green in general looks better on dark brunettes and redheads rather that blonde's (not always just most of the time!). A definite triumph for Catherine, God does she ever not look good though?!

Ever the beauty she paired her gorgeous dress with a little green eyeshadow on her lower line and kept the top half slightly darker with false lashes and lots of liner, lovely!

  • January Jones in Versace:

Is anyone else not surprised that January is wearing Versace? Yeah..I didn't think so. Don't take it the wrong way though, I LOVE it! I love the red on red, it especially looks good on blonde's, January looks like a bombshell! She might be revealing a lot of skin but so what, she's sexy enough to do so.

January is a classic beauty in my eyes, her face is very unique and she can easily transform to a beautiful woman in the 40's/50's, I don't even watch Mad Men but she's definitely on my radar now! Her hair and make-up are perfection, probably my favourite of the night!

  •  Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace:

Well wasn't this a surprise? Who would've thought Angelina Jolie would turn up in a sequined green dress, not me that's for sure! She's the last of my 'Green Goddesses' and of course I saved the best for last! The colour once again is very striking against her brunette tresses although I would've preferred a tighter fit and less emphasis on the shoulders for the dress as it makes her look a little heavy on top but other than that, it's gorgeous, a definite favourite!

Still the most beautiful woman alive, Angelina's hair and make-up don't disappoint! She had a soft smoky eye complete with false lashes and a peachy glossy lip, her hair was simply down with a few waves here and there but definitely not over styled. Ugh I just love her!

  • Christina Aguilera in Zuhair Murad:

And there was me expecting Christina in Versace! It's a lovely surprise though, her Zuhair Murad lace gown is gorgeous and she definitely stood out from the crowd. I definitely prefer Christina's Zuhair Murad choice rather than J-Lo's who's dress was a little on the weird side. 5/5 for Ms Aguilera!

Never one to leave home without her red lips Christina doesn't disappoint make-up wise, it's just a simple winged liner and not a lot of make-up on the face. I like her hair too, she should stick to this kind of length for now or tone down the bleach, I'd prefer to see her in a natural looking blonde colour than this heavily bleached one. Still, she looks lovely!

  • Anne Hathaway in Armani Privé:

One word to describe Anne? PERFECTION is that word! I nearly died when I saw this amazing/beautiful/stunning dress on her, she just looks like a million dollars! That amber tone dress is just heavenly and Anne's statuesque like body goes perfectly with it, I fell in love with this look from the moment I saw it!

And since she was all covered up in the front it's only right that her back gets some exposure. I can't get over this dream of a dress..I can't wait to see what Anne wears next!

Looking as beautiful as ever, Anne's make-up is fresh with a slight smoky eye and everything else is kept natural..she's just too gorgeous to even need make-up! Also I really love her hair, the highlites give her something different to work with and suit her a hell of a lot!
I think Anne's dress was my favourite along with the next attendee...

  • Leighton Meester in Burberry Prorsum:

Lat but not least we have my love, Leighton Meester! She was the attendee I was most excited about and she didn't disappoint! She wore this gorgeous nude dress from the Pre-Fall 2011 Collection by Burberry Prorsum, I was quite surprised she wore them but wow she looked beautiful!

Doesn't she just look heavenly? She certainly knows how to accessorise her dress, she's wearing Cathy Waterman jewels, a Louis Vuitton clutch and stunning Jimmy Choos'! She and Anne were the best dress of the night for me, the nude dresses won me over!

I can never get over how beautiful Leighton is and her appearance at the Golden Globes only proved me right! Her hair was softly up a little at the back without risking the 'over done' look which some others had..then again Leighton is never one to over do it with her hair or make-up! Her make up was gorgeous, I love it when she does a smoky eye as it enhances her amazing brown eyes, her lip was a matte peachy colour and overall her make-up was a favourite of mine.
I just love her even more after this!

So that's it you guys, those were my standouts from this years Golden Globes. I'm happy with my choices and I can't wait for the SAG Awards now and the Grammy, recording artists always have the craziest outfits! And of course the Academy Awards are what everyone waits for but those a little over a month away so..roll the next few ones!

Top 4 Looks:

1) Leighton Meester - Burberry Prorsum
2) Anne Hathaway - Armani Privé
3) Scarlett Johansson - Elie Saab
4) January Jones - Versace
